The goal of Academic Support:
                                                 To provide the tools to foster student independence.

I am pleased to be working with team 5-1. Students and parents will discover that my primary goal is to service the special education students and their needs. Additionally, I am co-teaching several classes and working with all students on team 5-1. I teach academic support class two times per week as well as reading support twice a week. During these sessions we focus on many different skills including, but not limited to: re-teaching specific content, pre-teaching skills, organization, study skills, developing time lines for tasks, and specific skill development.
